Buffie Says: http://www.bodynomics.com SQUATS are one of my favorite exercises. Why? Because I think it gives my booty and legs quicker results. Keep your knees back as much as possible, shoulders back, knees aligned with 2nd and 3rd toes, and chest up. I get the best results with plates under my feet. You should NEVER have PAIN in your knees, back, neck or shoulders from doing squats. If you do STOP and find out what you’re not doing correctly. Find out which technique works for YOU best to avoid injury. Everyone will not always do squats identically (this is MY way). Matter of fact, you will see most exercises done differently by different people.
I normally do squats 2 times a weeks. I do 6-12 reps, 3sets, slow to medium tempo, 45 lbs and up. PLEASE give time for muscles to rest and repair after an intense squat workout. I need at least 3-4 days in between (because of sore muscles) before I squat again. Listen to your body! Your body will always tell you something that no one else can 🙂
